A diagram of when Ike hit the Houston coast line.s said that Hurricane Ike was as big as the entire state of Texas! We had hurricane force winds sustained up to 110 mph (on the coast). In houston where we live we had 94 mph sustained winds (not gusts of wined, sustained!)
