This is us waiting in the FEMA line to get water, ice, and MREs. The line was about 2 miles long and as you can imagine it took a while to get through it. Believe it or not, Houston had a total of 21 of these sites and it was still this busy!
This is the location of the FEMA points of distribution.
Here are the volunteers handing out ice, water, and MREs.
Thank you FEMA!
We used the ice to keep what food we had left cool in our cooler. You could not buy ice any where in the city of Houston because the power is out every where!
